Special Interests
Approach to Care
Dr Khan takes a patient-centred approach to general practice, grounded in listening carefully and getting to know each person as an individual rather than treating symptoms in isolation. Drawing on his broad clinical background across internal medicine, psychiatry, paediatrics, surgery and general practice, he brings a whole-person perspective to every consultation, considering how physical, mental and social factors interact to shape a patient’s health.
He places strong emphasis on prevention and early intervention, working with patients to manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, COPD and obesity through practical, sustainable lifestyle and treatment plans rather than one-off fixes. Dr Khan is equally comfortable supporting patients through acute illness, ongoing mental health concerns, musculoskeletal complaints, skin conditions, or cardiovascular risk management, adapting his approach to what matters most for each patient at each stage of life.
Above all, Dr Khan values continuity of care. He aims to build lasting relationships with his patients and their families, so that care is not just responsive but genuinely personalised — shaped by an understanding of each patient’s history, circumstances and goals over time.
